Q: Why do some beards fade unnaturaly into nothing?
A: It's how the developers decided to cut down on resources without introducing a 'blending' texture or pattern or making every beard unique, so vanilla beards 'just fade', as does every other vanilla-based beard mod. It's not the textures, it's the models. It may be more obvious with higher resolution textures.

Q: Why is the beard stupidly symmetrical?
A: Vanilla beards are also stupidly symmetrical, as is every other type of 'Skyrim' beard.
---
Q: Why do some parts of the beard look like plastered-on pieces of paper with beard painted on it?
A: The texture for the hairs is really sparse, but it doesn't help. Again, vanilla beards look the same, but it may be more obvious with higher resolution textures. Those are physical (modeled) flat pieces of beard with a semi-transparent texture on top.

Skyrim beards are *bad* and I tried my best. I don't even like beards.
Besides, it's a game that came out in 2011 primarily for older consoles. If your Fancy Skyrim Year 9000 Edition includes fishing, doesn't mean it fixed the beards!
