NPC replacer (preview build 0.3)

I decided to replace the NPCs in the vanilla game, since I made so many presets already, I decided to put it to good use. Female characters only at the moment. No beastraces.

This is one of my ongoing projects on Boosty, which you may support.


Requirements (Legendary Edition ONLY):

Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch (dependency)

ALT2 for UNP (textures only) + any UNP body

Eyes mod 2 (main version, textures only)

KS Hairdos (textures only)


You can use the abovementioned orange mods fully as intended, or you may just use the textures from them.

It is safe to replace the eye textures from Eyes mod 2 with anything you like for vanilla eyes.

You don't have to have 700+ KS Hairdos if you don't want to.

You need *just the textures* for *this specific replacer*.

  • it's a public build, so far there are no bugs

  • 36 NPCs are replaced (all female)
  • I tried to make each NPC unique
  • nothing is final and everything is subject for change
  • the textures are 4K, uncompressed, so I recommend at least 4GB of VRAM to run it
  • some NPCs have an alternative version for their appearance
  • future versions will be posted on Patreon
  • Read the requirements!!
  • No SE\AE\Xbox nonsence. Don't even ask.

A note on SE adaptations - if you cannot wait for years and want to make one yourself:


1. Figure out a way to carry over tweaks from Unofficial SE Patch to the .esp and make sure no Unofficial LE Patch edits make it. Re-save the .esp.

2. Manually edit the eyes of every NPC .nif to have the same settings as the (SE) eyes in this mod. That's because SE and LE fix for ENB eyes/eye shadow bug is different, and it will either break with modern LE ENB or SE, so there have to be 2 different mesh sets.

3. Optimize the .nif-s with any NIF optimizer you want.

Not all NPCs are shown on the screenshots, and not all NPCs shown on *this* screenshot are in the public version.



This public preview is not a full release. Final release will be free-for-all. Skyrim has over a 1000 NPCs, around 400 of them female (makes for interesting population statistics..)

It will take me years to complete the project.
